A ten-seat counter. One sitting. The night’s fish, and nothing else.

The room

Sincerity, on a small counter.

Makoto means sincerity. We take it as a kitchen rule: a short menu, fish we can stand behind, and a sitting that starts when you sit down.

No apps, no extra rooms. Ten seats facing the wood. You eat what came in that morning.

Ceramic sake flasks, indigo cloth, and a white camellia on a wooden shelf

Tonight

A few things we always have room for.

Yellowtail sashimi and scallops on a matte black ceramic plate
